Previously, I stated Phil Jackson was overrated as a coach and that Doc
Rivers never had good enough players to even judge him. I think this
series
proves it. I remember arguing with someone who stated that Phil Jackson
was
more im****tant to the Bulls success then Scottie Pippen. Complete
Bull****.
A very good role player like James Posey makes more of a difference then
the
best coach in the league(maybe someone like Pat Riley when his players
aren't tuning him out) compared to the 20th best coach in the league.

Before the playoffs I stated Lebron was the real MVP of the league.

These playoffs have confirmed it. The Celtics defense treated Kobe like
he
was a great player/scorer, while the Celtics treated Lebron like he was
more
threatening then Michael Jordan in his prime. And Lebron did a much
better
job guarding a healthy PP then any of the Lakers including Kobe Bryant.
He did so while also providing great help defense on players like KG at
times by blocking his shot on at least a couple of occasions.

Granted Ray Allen was in a shooting slump but Cleveland actually outscored

Boston in their playoff series by 8. Cleveland is a tougher out in the
playoffs since Lebron plays more minutes and he goes all out on both ends.

His is still a mediocre jump shooter but that is an improvement over last
year when he was in a huge slump vs the Spurs and missed a ton of wide
open
shots.

Lebron took the Celtics to 7 hard fought games with 2 Boston castoffs in
the
starting lineup and a somewhat washed up Ben Wallace.

Kobe winning the MVP wasn't a travesty since many other players have won
MVP's when they weren't the most valuable player in the league.

Other then perhaps Chris Paul, Kobe is the most skilled star player in the

league but those skills don't make up for Lebron's huge strength/size
advantage. The same strength advantage Paul Pierce has over Kobe, Lebron

has over Pierce. Fortunately for the Celtics PP was willing to sacrifice
his body without hesitation when guarding Lebron. PP like most stars
does
act at times but he wasn't acting when Lebron charged into him.
