Dallas activated Antoine Wright and placed Tyronn Lue on IL with a
strained lower back.

New Orleans activated Rasual Butler and placed Melvin Ely on IL.

Kevin Garnett (Bos) was named as Defensive Player of the Year.  Garnett
received 90 of 124 possible 1st place media votes.
