News from April 16.

The NBA suspended Royal Ivey (Mil) for 3 games for punching Aaron Gray
(Chi) in the groin during Monday's Chi-Mil game.  Ivey served the first 
game of the suspension by missing Wednesday's game and the last 2 games 
will be served for the start of the 08-09 regular season.

Cleveland signed Billy Thomas for the rest of the season.

Phoenix signed Linton Johnson for the rest of the season.

Denver recalled Taurean Green from the NBADL.

Dallas activated Jerry Stackhouse and placed Antoine Wright on IL.

Phoenix activated Alando Tucker and placed Grant Hill on IL with a groin
injury.

San Antonio activated Manu Ginobili and placed DerMarr Johnson on IL.

Chicago activated Cedric Simmons and placed Shannon Brown on IL.

Boston activated Paul Pierce and Eddie House and placed James Posey and
Rajon Rondo on IL.

Indiana activated Andre Owens and Stephen Graham and placed Travis
Diener (sore left foot) and Jeff Foster (small right patella fracture) on 
IL.

Detroit activated Walter Herrman and Juan Dixon and placed Lindsey Hunter
and Theo Ratliff on IL.

Cleveland activated Lance Allred and placed LeBron James and Zydrunas
Ilgauskas on IL.

Philadelphia activated Shavlik Randolph and placed Calvin Booth on IL.

Orlando activated Marcin Gortat and placed Jameer Nelson on IL.
