News from April 11.

San Antonio elected not to sign Bobby Jones to a 2nd 10-day contract.

Denver signed Bobby Jones for the rest of the season.

Miami signed Blake Ahearn for the rest of the season.

Houston signed Loren Woods for the rest of the season.

San Antonio signed DerMarr Johnson.

Milwaukee named John Hammond as GM.

Brad Miller (Sac) underwent surgery to remove a bone chip from his right 
elbow.  He will miss the last 4 games of the season.

Drew Gooden (Chi) will miss the last 3 games of the season with a lower
abdominal strain.

Houston activated Tracy McGrady and placed Shane Battier on IL with a left
foot injury.

Detroit activated Richard Hamilton and Lindsey Hunter and placed Juan
Dixon and Walter Herrmann on IL.

Memphis activated Javaris Crittenton and placed Mike Miller on IL.

Boston activated Sam Cassell and placed Eddie House on IL with a strained
right groin.

Chicago activated Cedric Simmons and placed Shannon Brown on IL.
