The Guildford Heat went level on points at the top of the BBL
Champion****p table thanks to a comfortable 85-66 victory over the
Springfield Honda Newcastle Eagles at the Metro Radio Arena on Friday
night. This is the Heat's first ever victory against the Newcastle
Eagles.

The Sheffield Sharks secured their place in the semi-finals of the BBL
Trophy thanks to a 93-88 overtime victory over the Chester Jets at the
EIS, Sheffield on Friday night.
