"Steve (Blake) ran a great game for us." Nate McMillan

by humbubba@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Rick Hohensee) Jan 13, 2006 at 07:29 AM

In the Blazers win over the Lakers wednesday night, in 31 minutes Blake
was 3 of 5 for 3, 4 of 5 for 2, 2 of 2 for 1, 9 assists, one offensive
board, two defensive boards, no personal fouls, 9 assists, no turnovers,
and a steal.

He also helped Ruben Patterson hold Kobe Bryant to 13-of-29, and the
Blazers won by 10. That's basically as good as it is possible for a PG to
play. Steve Nash would take that every night.

Dixon scored a bit more and assisted a bit less.
