When Spurrier was coach of the Redskins I offered to take his job. Then
The Danny hired Joe Gibbs and I basically shut up. Gibbs knows what he is
doing. Just a day or two ago Gibbs said he felt very fortunate to work for
an owner that "plays to win". One has to wonder who he was thinking about.
Anyway, it sure is nice to see some deep competence right here in DC. I
think Joe is going to leave the Redskins in good shape for a long time.
It's a love thing.
