I have been an Angels fan since 1971. They sucked royally almost all
of those years. They had a few good years, like 1979 and 1986, but
they didn't make it to the World Series.
Then, 31 yrs later, 31 yrs after I became an Angels fan, they won it
all.

I saw Torii had two HRs tonight including a walk-off GS. I'm a huge Twins
fan and was not happy to see him go. Not exactly a devastating blow to
Minny as he's not *that* good but he's a huge upgrade for the Angles.
Anyway, the guy's been a GS machine the last few years... good for
several
every year. He just killed that walk-off shot tonight and looks like he's
now leading the AL in HRs after his awful start.
