Well, last post I suggested that if Reggie Evans was going to the bench, it
would make more sense to start Jason Smith rather than Thaddeus Young at
PF.
Sonuvagun, tonight Smith starts at PF. Too bad Jason didn't really play
all
that well. Shot 0-4 in 25 minutes, but did grab 5 boards. Also picked up
5
fouls! On the bright side, Evans showed he liked coming off the bench,
taking down 9 boards in only 17 minutes. Showing why he will have trouble
getting back into the starting lineup, Reggie shot 3-13 from the line.
Speaking of listening to me, Willie Green started and was limited to 20
minutes, and what do you know, he was productive throughout the game while
he was on the floor.
Thaddeus Young took advantage of Green's limited minutes. Young was on
the
floor for 26 minutes, and best I could tell, spent no time at all under
the
basket at PF, he played the two and/or three positions, shot 6-8 and took
down 8 boards. When Andre Ig and Thaddeus were on the court at the same
time, I'll be darned if I could tell who was playing small forward and who
was playing guard. They were more both like "wing" players all over the
court.
There aren't too many times you win by 43 in the NBA. I'm not too proud,
I'll take credit, ha!
