Wouldn't it have been better to just keep Koponen or some other
foreign player to be developed overseas? What a waste given that the
Sixers were apparently committed to their other guards and Byars
probably didn't have a chance in the first place. And yes, that does
mean that Kevin Ollie remains on the team.
On a related note of further draft laments, Glen Davis (still
available at #30 at the time) put up another impressive line for
Boston:
21 pts, 6-10fg, 9-9 ft, 6 reb, 3 blk in 33 min.
