Jim Peterson was talking tonight about the worst-team article. I knew
the guy was a hardcore homer, but this one took the cake.
"What people don't understand is that this is a young team. If they
had more experience, they'd have infinitly more wins than they have
right now. They'd have 5 or 6 more wins."
Okay ... first of all, Jimmy, this is about as stupid an argument as
one could make. It's essentisally the same as saying "If they weren't
so bad, they wouldn't be so bad." And secondly, when did "5 or 6"
become INFINITY?
Great win tonight, but Peterson still managed to make me shake my head
after it was over. He makes Trent Tucker look like Herb Carneal by
comparison.
