Blockbuster Trade with Warriors...

by "ffbsensei" <ffbsensei@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 17, 2007 at 04:31 PM

So this is an interesting trade for the Warriors...they move 4 guys
from their bench

Murphy - last year a guy who averaged double-double (only about 10-12
guys around the league who could do that) but this season has been
relegate to the bench due to poor play (and to be fair, recovering from
an injury). HUGE contract.

Dunleavy - HUGE contract, flashes of brilliance followed by long
periods of mediocrity. Did I mention he has a HUGE contract?

Ike Diogu - #9 pick in the 2005 draft - nice hands, good low post
moves...not very mobile and didn't pick up the offense in GS quick
enough. Will do better in a half-court offense and not in the up and
down tempo offense of the Warriors. He has some huge upside...of the
three young players on the GS roster - Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins and
Diogu - Diogu was the most expendable.

Keith McCloud - backup point guard with a suspect shot but good defense
and ball handling.

So tell me more about the players that the Pacers gave up...It looks
like they gave up 2 starters in Harrington and Jackson.

What say you Indy fans? Like the trade, hate the trade...
