McGrady is not the player that many think he is.
He's the complementary star.
He's Pippen. He's Ginobili. Maybe he's David Robinson.
He's not Jordan. He's not Duncan, O'Neil, Kobe or Wade.
He might even be Nowitzki. Next to Yao, he's not enough.
Until McGrady can will his team to win playoff series, the Rockets are
stuck where they are. Good enough to make the playoffs. Hell, this
year, they had the 5th best record in the league! But not good enough
to get out of the first round, and in the hardest place to improve the
team. No high draft pick. Salary cap max'ed out. Only waiting until
the good teams get old and fade away. Hoping for an upset in their
side of the bracket, but unable to take advantage when it happens.
