As one of the biggest Mavs fans I can say the Mavs won't go to the finals
this season unless they pull off a good trade.
YES I REALIZE IT IS ONLY TWO GAMES, but I was talking about this last
season
and continue talking about it this season...
It's something they didn't address in the off season. They don't have a
guy
who can truly penetrate. Devin Harris can penetrate but he spends so much
energy getting inside that when he finally does he can't make a good move
to
score. Infact he is the cause of so many of our turnovers and fouls.
The Mavericks are still a perimeter team and teams are better able to
break
that down because it's much of all they have to worry about. Even JET
cannot
get inside.
The Mavericks are going to have to trade some talent before the deadline,
that can penetrate.
