You bring up an interesting point I was thinking about lately.  Why
did Nellie decide to go with his small ball ways during his first
stint with the Warriors?  Was he adapting to the talent he had?  I
could see why he would want to fast break given that the "Showtime"
Lakers were in full effect during the late 80's but even the Lakers
had Kareem.  None of the Warriors centers in the last 20 years even
come close to Kareem's level.

I just find it strange the Nellie once had a more "traditional"
basketball lineup with his Bucks days because everyone remembers Run
TMC, the Nash/Dirk Mavs, etc, etc.  It's certainly kept Nellie
employed the past 20 years though.  He's definitely established
himself as someone (as Greg said) who can turn a team around (well,
maybe not the Knicks).
