I think it has always been problematic in the NBA, but I can't remember a
time when I have been as disgusted with it as I was during this series,
especially surrounding the treatment that Duncan received. He went almost
two full games without a foul called on him, although he committed many.
It
was almost surreal. Maybe the incident with Crawford set the stage for
it?
Regardless, I think it is an embarrassment for the league. Everyone
should
be playing under the same rules. Duncan wasn't in this series.
