Lakers sign Mbenga for rest of season

The Los Angeles Lakers signed center D.J. Mbenga for the remainder of the
season Monday.
The 7-foot Mbenga had signed a pair of 10-day contracts with the Lakers
previously and averaged 2.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.75 blocks in eight
games with the team.
In 103 career games - with the Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors,
and
the Lakers - Mbenga is averaging 1.4 points and 1.2 rebounds.
