The Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets will play in an outdoor preseason game
Oct. 11, the Arizona Republic re****ts.
The game will be played at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells,
Calif. The venue is a 16,100-seat stadium, and tickets go on sale
Saturday.
Planners originally believed this would be the NBA's first outdoor game,
but
the newspaper re****ts that in 1972 the Suns played the Milwaukee Bucks in
Puerto Rico on an outdoor court.
