Is this the beginning of the Las Vegas Hornets?
Ok, we all know the NBA has been looking for an excuse to place a team in
Las Vegas.
So just you watch.
The National Basketball Association moving the New Orleans Hornets
franchise
out - not just for a few weeks, or the first half of the season, but until
October, 2006. Yesterday, an e-mail went out from the league to each of
the
30 teams instructing them to make provisions for playing the Hornets
somewhere else this season.
You sort of hope the league isn't bailing on the city of New Orleans, and
will help with the reconstruction of that city, but also, you know the
league is going to jump all over the op****tunity to get a team in Sin
City,
the site of the 2007 NBA All-Star Game.
