#1. That is the worst 25 point win I've ever seen. I just didn't like it.
They beat a weaker opponent but I never really got the sense they were
clicking, at least not on offense.
#2. Rotations. This is the first time I've openly criticized Doc all
year
(seriously) - but come on now Doc! Rest your stars. Rest the big three.
Kee them safe. Trust your second unit, which is as good as any in the
league. We had a comfortable lead with Cassell and Powe having built that
lead. They were playing well and I think had scored the last 16 points
for
the C's. I say, so long as the C's are increasing a lead with the bench
in
there, then there is NO NEED to put KG, PP, or RA back in the game. Let
the
second unit get PT together, build their confidence, and allow the
starters
to not only rest (I know, I've said rest is overrated) but more
importantly,
avoid injuries like the one KG almost got for Horford last night. Ego
should not enter the equation as suggested by the Czar last night of
needing
to get your stars their minutes because they're the ones that got us here.
Foolish. Keep your f*cking eye on the prize - a championship. Won't get
past Duncan with KG sitting out with an injury. We'll get swept.
#3. Tony Allen sucks. He has an occasional nice score and he is
athletic.
That sums up most of the NBA wannabes. He is a lost little pup on defense
and needs to go. Sit his sorry ass on the bench and cut or trade him next
season.
Other things - loving Cassell.
Rondo is playing well and I'm happy he's hitting his J.
When Pierce stays aggressive going to the basket this team adds another
dimension.
Please realize Smith can jump and give an occasional head fake... the
young
kids in the leage may need to look that phrase up.
