Newspapers are going the way of the Edsel. Too slow getting the news
out, to expensive to distribute.

Why pay $.75 for the newspaper when I can get it faster for free?

Ten/twenty years from now the newspaper will be history, you'll either
get your news online/from TV/from radio or you'll print it out at home
on your printer.

Between paying $.75 for the paper, getting the paper down from the
roof, out of the bushes, or at the bottom of the snow bank the day
of the newspaper is gone.

Finally why does newspaper home delivery have so
much trouble with the concept of deliering the paper
on the front step? No when i'm ru****ng to get to work
I don't want to chase the paper down when it lands on
the roof, in the bushes, or at the bottom of a huge snowbank?

Maybe the newspaper industry wouldn't be dying if the newspaper
delivery people got out of their stinkin' car and put the paper
on the front step instead of throwing it out the window while
the car is still moving. Then maybe the paper would
be accessible without pulling out a ladder to get on the roof.
