The delay to start the 2nd half. In my opinion gave the momentum to
Atlanta. Celtics down 9 in the seconds quarter late, went on a run to
tie the game at half time. Their run to close the quarter gave the
momentum to the Celtics. The momentum went back to the Hawks, because of
the delay do to the 24 second shot clock not working.
The refs should have continued the game with the one clock that was
working. Instead of having the PA guy, who was sitting by the scorers
table count down the seconds. Then use a horn to signal when 24 seconds
are up. I personally don't have any trust in a crew member in Atlanta,
that puts the game in his hands. After watching tonight game, how can i
be for curtain that the PA guy wouldn't sound the horn premature on the
Celtics positions? How do i not know the PA guy wouldn't sound the horn
late on the Hawks positions? How can i be for curtain that there really
was anything work with the shot clock? I noticed that when the Hawks had
the game pretty much in their back pockets, the shot clock some how was
fixed.
