Well, that sucks.  All three are terrific writers.  I scour other
cities' newspapers on the web, and nothing comes (came) close to the
quality of writing out of this town.  It looks like those days are
over, it looks like we'll have to make due with anonymous AP
contributors and the Amalie Benjamins of the world.  Until she gets
too old and is bought out at the age of 30 because she'll be making
$25k.

Part of what makes s****ts great is the post-game myth making, and that
came from these guys.  That magic is fast on the way out.
