The statement is based on 2 things. Head to head like you pointed out,
and
having ACTUALLY SEEN the C's and Wa****ngton play against each other. If
the
C's can avoid the Wiz, that would be the best thing in the world for them.
Am I saying the C's WILL lose to Wa****ngton? No, of course not. However,
I've said consistently that the Wiz are one of the two teams in the EC
that
poses the biggest problems for the C's based on match ups and style. The
C's
can handle Toronto, Detroit, Cleveland, Atlanta and Philly in a 7 game
series, with relative ease. Boston against any of these teams is over in
less than 6 games.
While I am not ever going to bet against the C's, only a stat watching
geek
or fool would discount Wa****ngton against the C's. If the Wiz are having
problems, that's great. That is the one team I would be happy for the
Celtics to avoid.
