This year's 4th annual fantasy basketball league has come to an end.
The winner of Bean Town 4 is celtsfan44's team "Thanks to McHale". He was
in and out of the lead much of the season and in the final few weeks
pulled
ahead of the pack for a solid first place finish. Coming in second place
was 3-time defending champions, The Skeptics. Congrats also to the Hague
Celtics for being the most active team, with a total of 44 roster moves
for
the season including 4 trades.
Looking back on Thanks to McHale's draft day, he drafted 9th in a 12 team
league - landing a guy who turned out to be a top pick in Amare
Stoudemire.
He took a risk on the injury prone Ming in round 2 who.... got injured -
but
not before getting some pretty good mileage out of him. I think the best
draft pick he had came in the 3rd round with Deron Williams although
landing
David West in round 6 is nothing to sneeze at.
All in all it was good year and very competitive. Good job all.
Skeptics
P.S. In late breaking news, team Skeptics have fired their GM for what
they're calling a "completely failed season". They're now looking for his
replacement with hopes regaining the title of league champion next year.
