HANOVER, N.H. - The Big Green jumped out to an early 19-5 lead and
never looked back as Dartmouth cruised to an easy 67-45 victory
over the Quakers, Saturday evening at Leede Arena.

The Quakers (4-20, 2-9 Ivy) never quite found their shooting touch
in the first half and for the Big Green (18-6, 9-2 Ivy), it was
the exact opposite, as they shot 50 percent from the field including
5-of-7 from three-point range.

All-Ivy guard Jeannie Cullen was a big reason for Dartmouth's success
from beyond the arc, as she drained three treys in the first 20
minutes.

In the second half, Penn cut the deficit to 11 after a jumper by
Rachel Wilson and a basket and a foul shot by freshman Katarina
Lackner, but it would be as close as the Quakers would get.

Dartmouth stayed in control for the rest of the contest by getting
to the free throw line early and often, as Penn had committed 10
fouls by the 12 minute mark of the second stanza.

Junior Monica Naltner led the Quakers with 12 points while Joey
Rhoads contributed six points and five assists.

Cullen finished with a game-high 15 points and added five rebounds
and three assists, while Angie Soriaga added 10 points and six
assists for the Big Green, who shot 50 percent (21-of-42) from the
field for the game.

The Quakers return to action on Friday, March 3, to host Ivy foe
Yale. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m., at The Palestra.
